RCMP hit on me?

Hey,

Lived downtown a few years, been across Europe, studied psyc for over 5 years. Had a DUI, retained a lawyer. At the arrest, I kinda felt the dude was gay, so played gay (lived on davie, but straight).

He asked me to come in to the station. Not saying why, just to 'serve me', seriously. My lawyer even gave him a call. For 3 months he tried to 'hook up' with me. I finally decided to see what this was about.

When I got there, he gave me something he already had given me. In fact, it was key evidence, and my lawyer had it too. I asked why, he said 'just to be sure'. Then, he wanted to know how I was doing, asked me some personal questions, and damn, I knew it. So, played along, shook his hand, and bolted.

Anyone else have this happen? Or at least have any 'informed' info on this matter? Could it help my case? How? I have no problem calling him up, asking some stupid police question just to lead him on, just to get him to 'screw' up (half-pun intended).

here's the thing:

got a dui, lawyer, and its all good.

rcmp called me, wants to give me something. asked lawyer, he called, and said he will do it. after 3 months, still, I get a call from rcmp arresting officer.

s(he) won't say who it is, but have a funny feeling, and yes, after picking up something he already gave twice, he's gay. HE tried to pick me up, say hello, so, of course, I shook hist hand, played along, and busted out of there.

Can it help my case? who knows? should I try to help my case? hmm, not willing on any level to do any guy things. ever hear of anything like this? my lawyer is the best at bs-ing. its why i hired him. he will be PC on me, I know, but what if I call him and ask a stupid police question? maybe get some lee-wai(pun intended) on my case?
