Local Breakfast at Jethro's Fine Grub

Took a year but finally got around to eating at Jethro's Fine Grub on Dunbar and 18th. I was lucky enough to get a table immediately. Pretty tasty food and none of that small portion BS (see gigantic pancakes below).

I've heard complaints about their service but it was okay for me. Although, one elderly gentleman asked them to turn down the music but the server said something about how it's policy that the music be at that volume which I found a bit odd .

La Nina - Grilled corn cake benedict with Tex-mex chili, two poached eggs and smothered in hollandaise. Served with hashbrowns.


Strawberries & Cream - Jethros buttermilk cakes with strawberries baked in. Topped with more fresh strawberries and whipped cream.
