Although no "official" announcement yet over at www.translink.ca in past years TransLink has participated in International Walk To School Week by allowing students in Kindergarten thur Grade 12 to ride transit for FREE!!

This years week is Oct 7-11! www.saferoutestoschool.ca/international-walk-school-daymonth

High school aged kids are SUPPOSED to show their high school GoCard/ID. If they don't yet have this years GoCard- how last years GoCard...

Look for an official announcement in early October over at www.translink.ca or in the October edition of THE BUZZER newsletter...
Feel free to print off a copy of the October BUZZER straight from the website, once available...

"It's simple- both walking and taking transit promote good health and independence, while keeping greenhouse gases to a minimum"

TransLink has participated since 2006.... This may be the final year because of the multiple changes coming due to the new Compass fare system....
